J.D. Power and Canadian Black Book have teamed up to organize the 2012 TalkAUTO Canada Conference in response to an identified need in the Canadian automotive sector for a forum in which to discuss topical issues around forward business planning and risk management.
“In the face of uncertain economic conditions, we thought it would be very beneficial to the automotive professional community to come together and share ideas, strategy and best practices covering a broad spectrum of the sector value chain including dealers, manufacturers and financial institutions – among others,” said Ryan Robinson, director of automotive practice for J.D. Power and Associates in Canada.
Slated for November 14 at the Toronto Congress Centre, confirmed sessions include:
- Dealer Franchise Legislation Issues
- Dealer Issues Panel
- Evolution of Vehicle Quality
- Residual Value Review
- Consumer Credit Landscape
- Importance of Customer Experience
Robinson confirmed the keynote address will be given by Jaguar Land Rover Canada president Lindsay Duffield
The combination of presentations and panel discussions will be focused on business planning, risk management and more, he added.
