Toyota Canada Inc. reported its November sales of 12,169 vehicles were down 24.5 per cent from November 2009. Toyota sales totaled 10,861 cars, trucks and SUVs in November, down 26.8 per cent from the previous year month.
Consolation came from Sienna sales, which were up 77.6 per cent, Avalon sales up 57.1 per cent, Highlander sales up 33.4 per cent, while Sequoia sales were up 29.2 per cent, all over last November.
The automaker reported Lexus sales (1,053) in November 2010 were down 18 per cent from the previous year.
Highlights for Lexus in November versus November 2009 came in the form of IS series sales up 20.3 per cent, HS 250h sales up 18.5 per cent and LS 460 sales up 6.3 per cent.
Sales of the Scion, TCI’s lifestyle and youth brand, were at 255 for its second month in business. No other unit sales figures were reported.
