Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) is ending its six-year relationship with BBDO after selecting John St. as its new agency of record.
The change comes as part of the automaker’s global operations policy and procedures “whereby assignments with an agency of record should be conducted every three to five years.”
“BBDO has demonstrated their passion for our business over the past six years and in the final presentation. We truly thank them for their support in our growth thus far. Ultimately however it was a very tough decision and we decided that John St was the right fit for us moving forward,” Tomoki Yanagawa, V-P, sales, marketing and corporate planning, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada said in a release.
“We look forward to working with John St. in the future to help us build Mitsubishi sales in Canada.”
John St. currently counts The Bay, Bullfrog Power, Standfield's and Corby Distillery, maker of Wiser's Whiskey, as clients.
