A new partnership in the digital space is offering car dealers across the country the chance to run a “best-in-class” website solution that also ties in with their online lead generation efforts.
The deal inked between Dashboard’s Glovebox and Torstar’s LeadDriver network means the latter will act as the exclusive Canadian sales representative for Glovebox’s online solution suite.
LeadDriver Jon Kamin, managing director of LeadDriver, says his company is one of Canada’s largest lead generation services for retail automotive dealers and distributes vehicle inventory to a host of websites including Wheels.ca, Autocatch.com and MSN Autos.
“Our clients continue to ask us to provide them with a low-cost alternative to the incumbent,” Kamin explained.
“We’ve built a strong media footprint that includes Autocatch.com. Now we will start integrating our client’s data directly into their Glovebox web platform, moving LeadDriver one step closer to becoming a full digital services provider and allowing our clients to turn off their services with other providers for the first time.”
Established in 2001, Dashboard is a brand communications agency specializing in digital marketing solutions. Based in Toronto, it designs solutions to leverage digital channels for growth. Dashboard created Glovebox to help auto dealers take back control of their websites.
Covered in a previous software demo in Canadian AutoWorld, Glovebox offers a content management system (CMS) operated and managed by the dealer in house. Users can customize their site internally instead of relying on an agency or marketing firm to do the work.

Kamin said LeadDriver would begin actively promoting its relationship with Glovebox in January.
