OpenRoad nabs website award

OpenRoad Auto Group won a 2015 Web Award for Outstanding Achievement in website development.

The award was presented to OpenRoad by the Web Marketing Association, a U.S. based organization that has been recognizing innovation and excellence in website design and Internet advertising since 1997.

More than 1,500 entries from 40 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year's competition. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.

OpenRoad Auto Group took home the Automobile Standard of Excellence award, competing against thousands of entries from over 40 countries. Independent expert judges evaluated websites across 96 industries on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use.

“We couldn’t be happier to take home this award,” said Ben Lovie, marketing director, OpenRoad Auto Group.

“Our team has worked hard to ensure shopping for a vehicle is an easy and enjoyable process whether you’re doing it from your computer at home or your mobile device while you’re out and about.”

Other top organizations earning web accolades include AT&T for Best Employment Website, Amazon for Outstanding Website, and Cartoon Network and Nintendo for Game Site Standard of Excellence.
