TRADER starts digital education program for dealers

TRADER Corporation has started comprehensive education program aimed at helping dealers navigate the new digital marketing landscape and reach today’s “tech-savvy” consumers.
Dubbed Fast FWD, the program features learning resources and includes instructional animated videos, whitepapers, how-to guides and top-10 lists. There is also a dealer-focused web series called, Pistons & Pixels.
That series covers a large collection of digital marketing topics and its impact on auto shoppers today. The company says each four-minute episode features guest industry experts who will share insider tips and tricks to provide dealers with what they need to get that competitive edge.
TRADER is also partnering with various associations to ensure the content is distributed to dealers across Canada.
The education program and access to all material is free of charge.
“It’s eye-opening knowing that, for every 2,500 people visiting your website, you’ll see only 100 in your showroom,” says Roger Dunbar, TRADER Corporation’s V-P of marketing.
“While shoppers do go and see cars in person, it’s almost guaranteed not to be their first impression. The frontline battlefield for car shopper attention is online, and every dealer must be there. No argument.”
