Apex furthers partnership with CarProof

Apex Inspection Solutions says it has agreed to share more of its inspection data with CarProof Vehicle History Reports.

This new agreement is an effort by the two companies to provide transparency within the used-car industry.

Apex had previously been providing CarProof reports with some of their services, however this agreement will see them sharing key inspection data with CarProof. Inspection data such as odometer readings, damage descriptions and detail of previous repairs will all now be shared with CarProof.

“Our goal has always been to provide transparency to the used car industry in Canada, providing wholesale and retail customers with peace of mind and the knowledge to make informed buying and selling decisions free of apprehension,” said Marty Meadows, CarProof vice-president of strategic accounts and business development.

“Apex data adds yet another layer of transparency.”

Craig Martin, director, Canadian operations of Apex seemed equally pleased with the agreement.

“With a mutual goal to inspire confidence between buyers and sellers, we feel strongly that by sharing our data with CarProof, we are able to provide a value add to our customers as well as the automotive industry in Canada.”
