CarProof launches mobile app for dealers
CarProof Vehicle History Reports has developed a free app for iPhone users that offers constant access to history reports.
Called the CarProof Mobile – Dealer and available now, the company says its app is the “perfect tool for car dealers who need fast, reliable access to CarProof’s comprehensive vehicle history reports on-the-go.”
The app features a VIN barcode scanner, simple report sharing, mobile report archives and access to live customer support. It also takes advantage of a new streamlined report format, tailored specifically for reading on mobile devices. Dealers using the iPhone app can easily send a link through email or text message to any computer or mobile device, which can also take advantage of the mobile-friendly format.
“We are always looking for ways to make it easier for dealers to access the critical data that our reports provide, whether they are in the office, out in the lot, or anywhere,” explains Chris Afonso, V-P of dealer sales at CarProof.
“This app is the first step in our commitment to full mobile support for our dealers.”
Development is also set to begin on a release of versions for BlackBerry and Android devices.
