Dealer Auction names new operations manager

Dealer Auction Limited has selected Gareth Walker as its operations manager for to help steer efforts in Canada.

Dealer-Auction.ca, a dealer-to-dealer digital platform affiliated with Manheim, said Walker’s new role will be to focus on making it easier for dealers to transact business with each other and find vehicle inventory, while growing sales in the Canadian marketplace.  

The company was established in 2008 and is currently the U.K.’s largest online auction portal dedicated to offering wholesale vehicles from franchised dealers to vetted wholesale buyers.

With auctions totaling over 50,000 a year it offers a unique opportunity for buyers to source the most desirable cars from the widest possible marketplace of franchise dealer sellers.

Walker joined Dealer-Auction in the U.K. two years ago as a business development manager. Manheim said he brings more than 22 years of auto industry experience to his new role.
