Manheim Canada has announced that Cheryl Munce has been named general manager of Manheim Toronto, replacing Steve Macaluso.
In this role, Cheryl is responsible for all business operations at Manheim Toronto, Manheim’s flagship location in Canada, and the country’s first and largest auction.
“Cheryl brings a wealth of industry knowledge and management expertise to this role” said Brad Hart, V-P of Manheim Canada. “She has built strong relationships within Manheim and with our customers and industry associates, and she’ll continue to be instrumental in driving our business and growth in Canada.”
Since 2009, Munce has served as V-P of strategy, online and business development for Manheim properties in Canada.
In that position, she was responsible for strategic business development and implementation of Canada's e-business services as well as expanded business development solutions that integrate third party suppliers with Manheim and its customers.
She also focused on organizational strategy and effectiveness as it related to customer needs and business development opportunities for Manheim.
Munce joined Manheim in 2006 and was responsible for developing strategic business relationships and best-in-class strategies with all existing and prospective Manheim customers.
Prior to joining Manheim, she spent nearly 25 years in related industry roles, including president of ADESA Impact, in which she was responsible for 37 auction locations in Canada and the U.S. and more than 500 employees.
