Perras named general manager at Manheim Montreal


Manheim Canada has announced that Michel Perras has been named general manager of Manheim Montreal. With the start of the New Year, he moves from the role of assistant general manager to assume full responsibility for all business at Manheim Montreal.
“Perras has done a fantastic job leading the team at Manheim Montreal for the last several months, and I am very pleased to have him in the general manager role in this important market,” said Brad Hart, vice president of Manheim Canada.
“With his customer service orientation and strong operations background, he’s sure to keep building great relationships with our buyers and sellers and breaking attendance and sales records.
” Since joining Manheim Montreal as assistant general manager in July 2008, Perras has worked to growth both vehicles sold and customers in attendance for the location.
Manheim Montreal has had a 60 per cent increase in dealer cars sold in the last year alone.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity,” said Perras. “We have a state-of-the-art facility and a great group of employees and customers. 2012 looks very bright!”
Perras has worked in the auction industry for more than a decade. Prior to that, he held a range of financial and management roles in the construction industry.
